 the nice bit about a "mild makeover" is its a short slide down the slippery slope,not an endless ongoing full blown restoration.

 

 original brightwork got fresh chrome.

 

door handles got drilled & chromed..

 

 
with some squeezing,low profile tires & a little luck these should fit under the rolled  lip fender archs & look cool also

last week i was fortunate to be invited to film a segment for Jay Leno's garage show,

it was a great day.

jay got to drive my 71-911T & then took Karen & i for a drive in his 1907 White steam car...

Jay is a generous host,total gear head & allround great guy.
