chtistmas day run up ACH in the 77-930

Christmas day was a great sunny day, the perfect type of day for a Drive up ACH with Karen & skynyrd.

the ice green metallic 77-Turbo seemed like the car of choice..

 

 

MONTERREY ROAD TRIP

Karen & i decided to take the 77 TURBO up to monterrey,

we had a few cars to choose from & Karen decided on comfort & luggage space- its amazing how much you get inside a 911!

 the 77-930 ran surprisingly well ,especially when you consider that until i recently acquired the car -it have not covered a single MILE in the past few years!!

 long highway road trips are what the TURBO is great at,

cruising at 85-90 & then dropping from 4th down to 3rd gear

sure is fun & makes overtaking passes real easy :)

 sure was a fun filled few days & 800 miles..

AS most of my cars are Pre Smog this is something new to me!

not very often these are still intact & with the car.

 

the 1977 $ dollar bill in the ash tray was a nice find

 lets do the time warp again..

so my dose of early TURBO fever is getting worse!!

 

 

Truth be told i am on a quest to obtain one of each year of the 3.0 litre cars 75-77,

so far i have fallen into a trio of 76-930 cars.

 

well today my first 77-930 arrived.. :)

 ICE GREEN METALIC...

 ALL stock including ride height.

perhaps the coolest thing we found when going thru the car

was a dollar bill from 1977 folded up in the ashtray :)
