AMELIA ISLAND -FL -PART 1

Last week karen & I took a red eye flight into jacksonville -FL -

to attend the Amelia island concours,visit Brumos & attend the annual porsche dinner

within 1 hour of landing we were at the world famous BRUMOS PORSCHE DEALER SHIP.

there is so much history in this place.

also took a trip over to the ultra special museum

even the van is cool

briefly joined the race team!!

open road found

as part of my GET OUT & DRIVE -2014 campaign i decided it was time to put some miles on the 66-911...........

 So on saturday morning i headed out in a different direction-this time North up the 5 Fwy ..

 

 

first stop pyramid lake.......

then on to Frazer park

 lots of open road out here...

 take Lockwood valley road for 70 fun filled miles into Ojai

 this is a GREAT stretch of road with very little traffic.

lots of fun undulating twisties out here....

 always something to look at on the open road ....

 by the time i got back to LA i had covered almost 230 miles in the morning & had a great time doing it.

2 days in San Fransisco

karen & i just spent 2 days up in SF.

Another Porsche related road trip...

good time to test out our new suit case !

SF sure is a pretty city....

lots of christmas spirit...

Chinatown early in the morning is a must...
