so my 72 STR 02 is for sale as some of you may know.
it has almost 2400 miles on it since its completion in january of this year...
today we are giving it a final go over & detail before it heads up to the Gooding & co pebble beach auction.
its looking pretty clean underneath..

I take it that the axles have two roll pins as a means of alignment and the remaining bolts (4) are a means of quick disconnect in racing applications? I been under many stock Vw's and a few Porsche but have yet to see anything like that. It caught me off guard at first, and after a bit of thinking - it all made sense.
