born in 65 rebuilt in 2012

my 66-911sunroof started life in 1965....

it has been fully restored in 2012 & is now back on the road,

along the way the car had some pieces replaced...

a few welds later..

a few randow details.....

its a EURO car..

re did the gauges & outside temp gauge..

original deck lid stamp..

got repainted in the original POLO RED ...

sunroof for those wind in your hair days...

fast forward many months & long hours later ........

ONE OF THE MANY COOL THINGS ABOUT THE DTLA ARTS DISTRICT
IS ALL THE GREAT STREET ART-MAKES A GREAT BACK DROP.

spent some time this morning snapping pictures & shaking down my early sunroof polo red 911

the great thing about the ARTS DISTRICT is all the cool places to take pictures.

i have lived in this area for 18 years..

HOLLYWOOD films a lot here....

espically under the bridges..

a lot of time & energy has gone into making this car the perfect "sleeper"
